The Dub - Match Venue
The Dub is situated on Dub Lane off the Malone Road. Your Liaison Officer will make sure you get there ok and in plenty of time.

What will be at The Dub for you


  • 2 physiotherapists available ‘free of charge’ to all teams
  • A Doctor will also be on duty
  • St. John’s Ambulance will be present on both days

Warm-Up facilities

  • 2 warm pitches - teams will be directed as to which pitch they are on

Food & Beverages

  • Food will be served to teams and Officials after their respective semi-finals
  • The Bar will be open on the Saturday for those so inclined!
  • The Bar will NOT be open during the Finals on the Sunday


  • Four Inter-County referees with All-Ireland final experience have been invited to officiate at the Purcell Weekend
  • Line Officials and Umpires will be provide by the Antrim Camogie Board


  • Full media services are being provided for the Purcell Weekend. Queen’s University will be working very closely with the National PRO Marie Uí Scolai and the Ulster Camogie correspondent Seamus McAleenan who will be looking after all media interests.
  • Television Cameras (Click here to see note 6, re Purcell Finals) will also be in attendance on both days.
  • Please have a spokesperson from your team available should a request be made for an interview for TV, Radio or Print.
