A Little bit of light reading 26/03/2005
With “Mother of all Purcells” at an end and the QUB Camogs’ season over it seems like a good time to enlighten the general public on the goings on off the pitch.
Naturally this dedicated bunch of athletes were on a drink ban from early January (well, some fell off the wagon with considerable force) but with their campaign for glory over for another year the girls have been making up for lost time.

The best players over the Purcell Cup weekend hosted by Queen's last weekend were honoured at the Purcell Banquet in the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast, on Sunday night past, with selection for the first ever Purcell All Star team.

Fresher 7's 04/11/2004
Queen's Fresher's head off this weekend (5th &6th Nov) to Galway for the annual Fresher 7's to be hosted by NUIG. The team will be Captained by Catriona O'Boyle while the managerial duties will be performed by Bronagh Madden, Louise King, Bronagh Keenan and Niamh McGeown!!

The whole Queen's panel are looking forward to Bronagh McDonald's return to training this week after 'urgent business' kept her away from last Wednesday's affairs. Seems she had a 'brush' with some inclement weather but was 'dryer' after the 'colour' returned to her hair....oooppps!!!!!!
